Watching movie with my mom on a saturday night, my mom doesn't like the movie from the very first start and watched it only for once in awhile, i watched it the whole time expecting my mom opinion would be wrong, but throughout the story, it only has a few conflicts aside from her to stop aging.
Adeline met his boyfriend's parents and turns out the dad (Harrison Ford/Han Solo) was her ex a couple of decades ago. Han seems like he still loves her but he has been married for 40 years with his wife so it may seems impossible for him to still loves her now. Evenso, Han still approaching her. Finally it reveals that Adaline is the same person she has been for the past 70 years. When Han found out, she was terrified and ran away again just like she did with him. Then Ellis go after her but she got strucked by lightning, again.
Eventually Adaline decided to tell Ellis the truth. And he accept it just as it is.
One year later, Adaline and Ellis and Adaline's daughter (whom look 40 years older than her) lived together, preparing to go to an unmentioned event. And when she passed the mirror, she saw one grey hair on her head. And she described it as "Perfect."
The movie ends and my mom wanted to say something but i thought she would just laughed at it, but then she told me the moral of the story:
"Beauty is not everything, young appearance meant nothing if you couldn't grow old without the ones you love."
And that was quite cool mom and I haven't got think of that. Thank you mom, i misjudged you.
